JMP Workshop on Survival Analysis
Volker Kraft
(

)
15:00 - 17:00
This JMP workshop will focus on the basics of survival analysis. Survival analysis is used in many applied fields, and is sometimes called, or is closely related to: Reliability Analysis, Life Distribution Analysis, Life Testing, Degradation Analysis, Time-to-Event Analysis, and Analysis of Censored/Truncated Data. We will cover the underlying concepts of survival analysis, what censoring is and how to handle it, and modeling options including nonparametric, semi-parametric, and fully parametric with a variety of potential underlying distributions. Attendees who want to get some hands-on practice should have JMP or JMP Pro 16 pre-installed (optional, free trial at www.jmp.com/trial). Neither pre-knowledge in survival analysis nor experience in using JMP software will be required.
