Abstract:
JMP is widely appreciated by many ENBIS members, both from industry and academia, as a software to gain insights from data without any need for coding. The software is used for teaching and research by more than 2300 universities worldwide, also because its unfolding and visual user interface stimulates statistical thinking in a unique way.
The year 2024 brought some groundbreaking changes especially for academics. This webinar will share some highlights for both long-time and new JMP users, presented first-hand by the JMP academic team:
Bio:
Paolo Chiappa is Academic Program Manager for JMP in Europe, with over two decades of experience empowering educators and researchers with the latest technological advancements. His expertise in bridging the gap between classroom and workplace has enabled him to facilitate seamless access to JMP for educational and research purposes, fostering a strong connection between academic institutions and industry.
Volker Kraft is Principal Academic Ambassador for JMP in Europe, fostering and supporting the use of JMP in teaching and research. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and used statistical methods extensively in his research in communication acoustics. In later positions he developed a passion for customer advocacy. Drawing on this experience and the success of JMP's Academic Program globally, Volker is charged with enabling academics in Europe to get the most from JMP.
