Abstract:
After a brief introduction to AI and its successful applications, we will explore the failures and challenges of current AI architectures. This will highlight the fundamental differences between human and artificial intelligence, helping us define what we can and should expect from AI. We look forward to an open discussion with the audience at the end.
Bio:

Dr. David Meintrup is a professor of mathematics and statistics at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences in Germany. He studied mathematics at the University of Münster and the University of Colorado, USA. Beyond his teaching and research, Dr. Meintrup is a statistical trainer and consultant, with a focus on the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. He is also the co-author of several books on applied statistics.
