Advancing a Culture of Data Analytics in the Process Industries through Statistics Education 2h

Deriving insights from data is crucial to drive innovation and to improve processes and systems. However, to make most of the data available and to solve industrial problems a basic understanding of statistical methods is required. In this interactive webinar, Phil Kay and Volker Kraft, both with JMP and long-time members of ENBIS, will present a case study showing how a company was able to solve a costly manufacturing problem and improved yield by applying statistical methods. They will introduce the free online training “Statistical Thinking for Industrial Problem Solving” that helps scientists and engineers to build practical skills in using data to solve problems better.

Speakers: Phil Kay (JMP), Volker Kraft (JMP)
