Conference location
The ENBIS-2026 conference will take place at the central building of the University of Florence located at the north of Florence.
The venue is located in the north of the city and can be reached easily:

From Santa Maria Novella station: Tram T1 → Morgagni–Università (about 15 minutes).

From Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR): Tram T2 → SMN (about 20 minutes), then Tram T1 → Morgagni–Università.
Coming to Florence
Florence has a small international airport (Amerigo Vespucci), but there are also convenient alternatives nearby:

Pisa is very close to Florence, and frequent trains connect Pisa Airport directly to Santa Maria Novella Station in the city center. Trains are reliable and usually on time, making this a practical choice for many travelers. -
Bologna Airport (BLQ)
Located about 100 km from Florence, Bologna Airport is another excellent option. High-speed trains link Bologna to Florence in just under 40 minutes, ensuring a smooth journey.
Both Pisa and Bologna airports are well connected and often provide more international flight options than Florence itself. No matter which airport you choose, reaching Florence is straightforward and convenient.
